We are planning to build the new playground on Saturday, June 30th, but there is a lot to do in order to be ready for that day. The schedule is below:
Demolition Day, Saturday, June 16th
We will be removing current equipment as well as the sand and other materials that exist in the current playground locations. This will be hard work, but very rewarding when we see how people can come together in order to help others in their community.
We are looking for approximately 25-30 volunteers who are willing to work hard from 8am to about 2pm, Saturday June 16th.
We are also looking for heavy equipment donations (make the job as easy as possible). We are also looking for food and water donations to keep our volunteers as happy as possible.
Ground Prep Day, Saturday, June 23rd
We will preparing the identified locations for the equipment install. This includes digging out the playgrounds pits and pouring cement. Again, this will be hard work, but very rewarding to be a part of a community event like this unique.

Build Day, Saturday, June 30th
At last! The day we have been working toward for over a year. With the assistance of representatives from Big T Recreation, we will be installing new playground equipment and celebrating everyone’s great accomplishment of coming together in order to serve others. We will also have activities for young children to participate in on this day as well.
We are looking for approximately 25-30 volunteers who are willing to work hard from 8am to about 2pm, Saturday June 30th.
After the equipment has been installed, we plan to hold a special Ribbon Cutting ceremony where we will thank all the many volunteers and businesses who have made this event a success!
And for Build Day as well, we are also looking for equipment donations (make the job as easy as possible). We are also looking for food and water donations to keep our volunteers as happy as possible
