Announcing Pennies for Playground!

We had a great time at our March Kids Club meeting! This month our kids had a lot of fun learning about healthy choices in what they eat and reported on how they've done at keeping the goals they made in February.  All of our kids kept their goals to eat healthy, exercise more, serve family and neighbors and clean up trash wherever they went. As the kids continue to keep their goals they earn points. In October, those with who have earned 200 points will get a big reward!  Don't worry if your kids or grandkids have not participated yet, there are lots of ways to earn extra points!  Come to our April activity or email us to get started.

We are Excited to Announce

“Pennies for Playgrounds”
Tuesday, April 19th, 4-5pm

In April, the Pheasantbrook Kids Club will be collecting donations to go towards our new playgrounds. We’ll be coming around the neighborhood on Tuesday, April 19th between 4 and 5pm to relieve you of that annoying loose change that's hanging around. Please talk to your friends and family who live outside of Pheasantbrook.  Maybe they'd like to donate their loose change to a good cause too!  If you would like to make a donation but will not be available during these hours, please contact us to make special arrangements.

We welcome questions and comments! Please post what you think or send us an email at:  phoafriends@gmail.com

A call for volunteers!

A portion of the funds we need to update or replace our playgrounds will come from grants received from both local and national organizations.

Do you have experience in applying for grants? Do you know someone who has experience? Would you be willing to contribute your expertise and time in helping the Friends of Pheasntbrook apply for grants?

We could really use your help.  Please contact us at phoafriends@gmail.com right away!
